When typing into chat gpt the prompts for my resume, I deliberately told it to focus specifically on the skills that I had. When telling it I wished to pursue either commercial real estate or construction management, I also mentioned that I wanted the skills that best fit the job in each category. After putting my resume into an AI chat bot, it vastly changed what I wrote. It made my skills sound more important and changed the tone from professional to almost as if I were naming off my strengths. It also took out skills that might not fit into my job type. One thing that I have learned after tailoring content to 2 different audiences is that depending on how well you word yourself to that audience, the better the response will be. This can mean the difference between looking good on your resume and potentially getting the job that you want.
